Ennepi meeting

Design Luigi Glorini – R&S CUF MILANO
Ennepi è il nuovo desking system a carattere operativo di produzione Centrufficio spa.

Worktops

For all the elements making up the series, tops, panel sides and joists are made of melaminefaced wood chipboard 30 mm thick. On all sides there is a 2 mm Abs edge with bevelled edges and corners in the same colour as the surfaces.
By means of a suitable system of multi-function brackets, made of press-folded sheet metal, suitably punched to obtain the fixing slots, the tops are raised by 16 mm from the underlying
structural elements in melamine.
To complete the system of desks with shelves D. 80 cm, consoles and side extensions with shelves D. 60 cm, a wide range of practical elements are available, such as the connection tops, available in the 80/80, 80/60 and 60/60 cm versions.
The end tops with metal legs, available in depths of D.80 and D.60 for desks and consoles respectively, are also available in double depth for desks and consoles arranged in a bench
configuration, with a total depth of 165 cm and 125 cm respectively.
The 80 cm deep end panels can also be used as head workstations on bench configurations.
In addition, for bench configurations with a finished depth of 165 cm, there is a suspended side container with hinged doors whose height dimension is designed to easily accommodate a series of standard office dox binders. The doors of this container have a push and pull opening and can, if necessary, be fitted with a lever lock with folding key.

Cable-management

The collection includes, as standard, both desks equipped with a hole for electrification, which can therefore accommodate – on customer’s request – the Exit top access, or the Versafalp multisockets, and desks without such a hole.
Horizontal cabling is carried out by means of special press-bent sheet metal pouches that hang from the under-floor multifunctional structural brackets.
Horizontal cabling can be carried out under elements that do not require the use of a hanging metal pouch, such as fittings and end shelves, using the Cable Grip, available with 3, 4, 5 and 6 compartments, which can be screwed under the top in any position using self-tapping wood screws.
Vertical wiring can be done in different ways. Depending on the customer’s needs or the design situation, it can be done simply by using Vertical Cable Management devices (see electrification price list) or by using Cable Grips screwed onto the panel sides, or by using magnetic covers placed on one side of the metal legs, whether they are terminal or shared.

Frontal panel

Since the clamp supports are freely installable, i.e. they do not have any binding fixing positions, frontal panels of different sizes can be assembled on the worktops, not necessarily as long as the top, and can be attached to the top in variable positions according to requirements.
Metal elements with a service function: such as the lateral dox holder totem, which can be positioned on the short side of the desk, whether single or in a bench configuration, or the horizontal dox holder to be positioned frontally on tops in bench configurations.

Service accessories

The horizontal dox holder will be a practical magnetic board for the operator.
The same design philosophy has also been adopted for the metal accessories to be attached and suspended from the wooden conglomerate frontal screens. Pen holders, Post-it note holders, three different types of storage trays, horizontal and vertical A4 sheet holders, made of press-bent sheet metal, have been designed to be arranged in serial aggregation on the two fronts of the frontal panel, thanks to their special upper shape that makes it possible to interpenetrate them.
Suitable clamps make it possible to make the frontal screens made of soundproof material integral with the worktops.
The possibility of free installation is also allowed by this second type of clamping pliers so that, exactly as with melamine screens, it is possible to assemble a frontal screen in sound absorbing material as long as the worktop, or shorter.
The height of the frontal panel, whether in melamine or in sound-absorbing material, once assembled on the desk is congruent with that of the side container with sliding shelf that can be placed next to the worktops with a depth of 80 cm.
