Since 2019 CUF Milan, thanks to the work of arch. Matteo Origoni, has become part of the “exploiters” collaborating with the European project FiberEUse, which deals with researching solutions for the recovery
of glass fibre compounds and support industry in the transition towards a circular economy model.
We are therefore proud to present the first series of office furniture manufactured through the use of recycled fibre composites.

Glass and carbon fibre reinforced composites are increasingly used as structural materials in many manufacturing sectors such as transport, construction and the energy sector, thanks to their greater lightness and resistance to corrosion, compared to metals.
Recycling these products is a very demanding task and a complex challenge: in fact, most of them end their life cycle in landfills as no significant added value has yet been demonstrated in their reuse and regeneration.
The European project FiberEUse focuses on finding solutions for the recovery of glass fibre composites and supporting industry in the transition towards a circular economy model. FiberEUse is a €9.8 million research project funded by the European Union since June 2017, involving 21 partners from 7 EU countries.
Since 2019 CUF Milan, thanks to the work of arch. Matteo Origoni, has joined the “exploiters” collaborating with the European project.
We are therefore proud to present the first series of office furniture made through the use of recycled fibre composites.
