“All Around Work” (6-8/10/20, c/o Spazio Megawatt, Milan), the first exhibition dedicated to everything that rotates around the office world, from furniture to IOT, from architecture to general contractor, has just ended.
Centrufficio wanted to contribute to the launch of this first edition, exhibiting under its own brand “CUF Milano” and presenting, in addition to the award-winning Fusion (design: J. Bennet – S. Adachi, winner of the German Design Award 2020), the series of lockers called Cartesio and designed in collaboration with Progetto CMR and GLEB, the first desk made of glebanite, a circular economy compound derived from fiberglass waste. (design: Matteo Origoni by Studio Origoni Steiner).
We were very excited to participate in the project All Around Work, primarily because for the first time we talked about the office all round, and not just the furniture or design, starting from the right assumption that now the world of work is fully integrated in all its aspects: from the creation of the layout, IOT, workstations, plant engineering, outdoor spaces, etc..
Secondly, after so many months in which the contact with the public was almost cancelled, we were able to talk to professionals and meet the customers (clearly with all the necessary protection devices and precautions).
Finally, we were able to present GLEB, a product that we will give more details about with a separate article, but that brings not only sustainability, but even the circular economy within the office and design world. After months of research and after the partnership with Politecnico di Milano, we were very proud to be able to present this new material and a possible use of it.
Thanks to the All Around Work team, see you next year!
